He is the founder and past-president of the Home Unix Machine - Brisbane User Group in Australia and was the talks coordinator for the Toronto Linux Users' Group from April 2003 until November 2007. Robert specialises in Unix, Networking and Security and has fourteen years experience in the Information Technology Industry. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland, Australia and is a member of SAGE and SAGE-AU Kate visiting Tasmania, Australia Kate Currie Senior Technical Consultant Kate is a web designer and developer based in Brisbane, Australia. She has spent the last ten years developing numerous websites - large and small - for a variety of clients. She specialises in user interaction design, focusing on the needs of the user to achieve easy to use, functional and visually appealing websites. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. She is skilled in many web technologies including Java, JSP, PHP and Ruby on Rails, as well as XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
